Based on the point that most occupational accidents and occupational diseases can be prevented by an effective occupational health and safety management, the British Safety Council offers the “International Occupational Safety and Health Certificate Program”, an internationally recognized qualification indicator for health and safety professionals.
This certificate has been accredited by IOSH as it meets the technical membership requirements of the Institute of Occupational Safety and Health (IOSH). Certificate holders can also apply to the joint membership of the International Institute of Risk and Security Management (IIRSM).

Training Content: 

The International Certificate Program consists of two compulsory units,.

  • Unit 1. Health and Safety Management Principles
  • Unit 2.Control of Hazards in the Workplace
Education and Exam language
  • Candidates who will apply to this program are expected to be at Level 6 according to the English Language Test System (IELTS).
Application Conditions
  • Any certificate or qualification in occupational health and safety
  • An alternative suitable qualification in a relevant sector
  • Experience in occupational health and safety
  • An adequate level of literacy and mathematical skills
