1. Introduction

The Basic First Aid Training aims to teach participants how to provide immediate and essential emergency care to casualties before professional medical assistance arrives. This training is based on the legislation of the Republic of Azerbaijan, the European Resuscitation Council Guidelines for Resuscitation 2015, and the American Heart Association (AHA) Standards.

2. Training Objectives

  • Eliminating life-threatening conditions;
  • Ensuring the continuation of vital functions;
  • Preventing the deterioration of the casualty’s condition;
  • Facilitating the recovery process;
  • Teaching proper casualty management before professional medical help arrives.

3. Target Audience

This training is designed for employees who may need to provide initial first aid in situations where waiting for medical assistance is not an option.

5. Training Methodology

The training consists of theoretical and practical sessions. The practical component includes CPR on mannequins, bleeding control, rescue breathing, and shock response simulations.

6. Assessment & Certification

At the end of the training, participants will undergo written tests and practical evaluations. Those who successfully complete the training will be awarded a Basic First Aid Certificate.

7. Other Requirements

  • Training Language: Azerbaijani, Russian, English

  • Number of Participants: Minimum 5, maximum 15 people

  • Training Location: Training center or on-site location

  • Certificate Validity: 3 years
