1. Training Objectives

This training aims to:

  • Provide fire safety awareness and training on the principles of fire prevention.
  • Explain ways to reduce fire risks effectively.
  • Teach safe behavior during a fire emergency.
  • Provide guidance on proper fire fighting methods and the selection of appropriate firefighting equipment.
  • Educate participants on portable fire extinguishers and safe usage practices.

This training is designed for:

  • Fire safety supervisors, volunteer fire brigade members, and anyone involved in fire safety mobilization.
  • Personnel responsible for fire safety in various sectors.

1. Introduction/Overview

  • Overview of fire safety and its importance in the workplace.

2. Local Legislation & International Standards

  • Fire safety laws in Azerbaijan and international standards on fire safety.

3. Fire Safety Law of the Republic of Azerbaijan

  • Detailed discussion on the fire safety laws and their application in Azerbaijan.

4. Fire Safety Regulations in Azerbaijan

  • Understanding the regulations and requirements for fire safety in Azerbaijan.

5. Organizing Fire Safety Measures

  • Procedures to organize and implement effective fire safety measures in facilities.

6. Fire Formation

  • Understanding how fires start and the main causes of fires.

7. Theory of Combustion (Fire Triangle)

  • Study of the combustion triangle and the necessary conditions for a fire to ignite.

8. Ways Fire (Heat) Spreads

  • How fire spreads and the different types of fires.

9. Fire Classification (Types of Fires)

  • Understanding fire classification (classes A, B, C, D, K) and which extinguishing methods apply to each.

10. Firefighting Equipment

  • Various types of fire extinguishers and other fire protection equipment.
  • Proper usage and maintenance of extinguishers and firefighting tools.

  • Group Size: Minimum 3 – Maximum 15 participants
  • Languages: Azerbaijani, English, Russian, and Turkish
  • Certification: Fire Warden Certification awarded upon successful completion.
  • Certificate Validity: 3 years.
